How do I reference Gibbs’ reflective cycle/model? (APA)

Answer

Gibbs’ reflective cycle was originally published in a book titled Learning by doing: a guide to teaching and learning methods (1988).

The library has access to an online copy of the 2013 reprint of the book.

It is best practice to find the cycle/model in the book, and reference as below (the cycle can be found in section 4.3.5 Structured debriefing).

In-text citation

(Gibbs, 2013) OR Gibbs (2013)

Add the page number if relevant.
