Can I leave my belongings unattended?

Answer

If you are looking for items on the library shelves, going to the café on the 3rd floor or going to the bathroom it is not necessary to pack up all your belongings to take with you although we would always advise you to take anything of value with you, even if it's just for a few minutes. If you are leaving the Library then you should take your belongings with you. We do monitor the Library and if items are left unattended for any length of time we will remove them and take them to the Welcome Desk. The Library will not be responsible for any loss or damage to any personal belongings.
