How do I book an appointment with CAW? Are there any booking rules? What type of appointment can I book?
Answer
All academic writing tutorials, workshops, and staff consultations must be booked in advance online at CAW - LibCal Home. Students can book an in-person appointment (in CAW), an online appointment via Microsoft Teams, or an Email appointment. Full details of our booking conditions for students can be found on the booking page, but note the most important ones:
To ensure we can offer advice and guidance fairly to all students, please ensure you:
- only request one tutorial per week
- only request one tutorial at any one time
- send through your assignment draft (in Word format) and your assignment brief no later than 10:00 the day before your appointment.
- DO NOT send links to your documents, as we do not accept these
Note: multiple advanced appointments on the system will automatically be deleted.
