Can I add publications to Pure which are still in press?

Answer

Yes. If your output is available online, but not yet in print select the option of ‘E-pub ahead of print’ in the publication status field along with a full date. If your publication has been accepted but is not yet in the public domain select ‘accepted/in press’ and enter the full acceptance date.

Once your output has been published use the ‘add publication status and date’ button in the output record and input the full date the article was published. Please create a new publication status rather than changing ‘accepted/in press’ to ‘published’.

Journal articles and papers in conference proceedings should be added to Pure within 3 months of acceptance to comply with the University Publications and Open Access Standard (Yes.
