Should I share my data?

Answer

Following guidance from the University’s RDM and Sharing Standard, CU researchers should ensure that research data which validate publication outputs, are available for access and re-use, where it is appropriate to do so, and under appropriate safeguards. Sufficient metadata should also be created and stored to aid discovery and re-use. Researchers should take account of and ensure compliance with funders and other relevant legislative frameworks which may limit public access to the data (for example, in the areas of ethics, data protection, intellectual property and human rights).

For more information see the Research Data Management and Sharing Standard.
