Can I access CU e-resources as a non-payroll / visiting / honorary staff member?

Answer

If you are a staff member who is not on main payroll you may have seen a ‘Forbidden’ message when you try to log on to Locate or access our full text e-resources.

To get access to Coventry University e-resources, please submit a non-payroll staff request using the ‘Non-payroll staff application for access to e-resources’ form.

Please note, to complete the access request form you will need to provide your CU username (the part of your email address before @coventry.ac.uk). User permissions cannot be applied without this information. If you do not already have a CU username/email address, you should first ask your manager to set you up as a non-payroll staff member and arrange for you to get a CU user ID/ CU IT account.

If you are a member of staff at one of Coventry University's partner institutions, please follow the access advice given on the Partner Libguide.
