I can't find a book on the shelf. What can I do?

If you are unable to find the book on shelf, it may be because: 

  • the item might not be shelved in a normal sequence / area, so check that if you have the call number and location, e.g. Folio, reference
  • another user is currently using the book, or the book has not been placed back on the shelf
  • the book is borrowed by someone else after you checked its record in Locate

If you are still unable to find the item, contact us.
