As a guest or visitor to the Library can I have Wi-Fi access?
If you are a member of staff or student from another UK Academic Institution and access our library through SCONUL Access scheme, you could use EDUROAM to access our wireless network for free. Please make sure you have activated EDUROAM by downloading the installer. When installing please select your home institution. If you have any difficulties with EDUROAM please contact the IT helpdesk of your home institution. If your institution does not participate in EDUROAM, please ask at the Library Welcome Desk.
Short term visitors can register for Wi-Fi using the FIREBIRD-GUEST for 24 hour access. Longer access for some visitors can be arranged including for those holding at College and Sixthe Form card at the Lanchester Library. Please ask at your local welcome desk for more information or see the visit our library of the library you wish to visit.
