The library operates an automatic renewal system. To avoid incurring fines, please check your University email account regularly for notices from the Library.
Library books will automatically renew unless:
They have reached their maximum loan period (one calendar year if limits below do not apply).
Another user has requested them.
Your account is blocked due to library fines, overdue items, or financial blocks.
Your account has expired, or will expire before the next renewal date.
The item can't be renewed e.g. a laptop.
Late returns of books incur a £1 fine per item, per day.
