Why is my account blocking me from borrowing books?

"If you can't borrow a book there are a number of possibilities:

  • You have reached your borrowing limit (20 items for Coventry University staff and students, 5 items for Associate borrowers)
  • Your account is blocked due to library fines, overdue items, or financial blocks. 
  • You have not completed your enrolment onto your course at Coventry University.
  • You have completed your Coventry University course.
  • The item you want to borrow is reference only or the tag has a fault.
