What help does the library provide for researchers and PhD students?
Answer
The library provides a range of services to support researchers at every stage of the research journey. Each Research Centre has a dedicated Academic Liaison Librarian supporting them, offering expert support in finding relevant information for research, as well as in the use of reference management tools. They can also help with signposting to other research support services in the library, such as those offered by the Research and Scholarly Publications Team (RSP). RSP can assist with creating Data Management Plans, disseminating research Open Access, and understanding the growing importance of metrics within research culture.
As well as access to the library’s full range of attractive study spaces, researchers also have access to the Postgraduate Reading Room, a quiet study space located in the basement of the library. For more information about how the library can support you, please contact your Academic Liaison Librarian.
