Accessing AppsAnywhere

To access AppsAnywhere from a personal device, open a web browser and enter the following address:
https://appsanywhere.coventry.ac.uk

Enter your University Credentials when prompted.

Upon launching, AppsAnywhere will ask if it is installed on your device, select 'Install now' to run the installation. The next time you access AppsAnywhere you will not be asked again, and you will be able to access AppsAnywhere from the Start Menu.

Launching an Application

To launch an application in AppsAnywhere, select 'required application' from the list and select launch

On some applications, you will see a Pre-Launch stating that if you are not on the University Campus that you must connect to the University VPN. You only need to connect to the VPN if you are off Campus. If you do not do this and continue to launch the application, it will fail, and you will not be able to gain access.

When you have launched the application a CloudPaging Player opens which virtualises and opens the application.

Close any applications you have open before you log out of AppsAnywhere.

Relaunching an Application from Cloudpaging Player

To re-launch an application that has been previously opened, you do not need to log back into Apps Anywhere, you can launch the application from the Cloudpaging Player. To do this, you can either open the Cloudpaging Player from the taskbar or from the Start Menu.
