How can I download ebooks?

Answer

There are a number of ways to download electronic books (ebooks).

1. The main way is to download them from Locate the library catalogue.  Go to Locate and sign in at the top right of the screen with your university username and password.  Enter the details of the book into the search box.  Find the book from the list of results and click ONLINE ACCESS then follow the instructions to access the book on the ebook platform.  From there you are given the option to read the book online or to download it.  Please watch this video on How to use Locate at https://libguides.coventry.ac.uk/CoventryUniversityLondon/HelpVideos

2. Download ebooks using BibliU, the ebook platform which hosts your Flying Start books.  You will need to download the BibliU app in order to download ebooks.  Log into BibliU with your username and password. Click the Settings icon and select Help and Accessibility and follow the instructions for downloading the app.  Please watch this video on How to use BibliU: https://libguides.coventry.ac.uk/CoventryUniversityLondon/HelpVideos

3.  Download ebooks from your module reading list.  Watch the video on 'How to access your reading list' on Aula https://libguides.coventry.ac.uk/CoventryUniversityLondon/HelpVideos.

Find the book you wish to access on the reading list and click VIEW ONLINE.  Books on reading lists are accessed via Locate or BibliU so follow the instructions for downloading books from Locate and BibliU.
